From the shores at the head of Lake Wakatipu, only a few minutes walk from Glenorchy centre, this beautiful location has 360 degree mountain views with the Humboltds Mountain Range in the West, Richardson Mountain Range in the East, Mt Nicholas to the South, and Mount Earnslaw and the Southern Alps in the North.
The is also plenty of opportunity to take photos at the old Glenorchy Wharf and at the iconic red Glenorchy Wharf Shed.
This location is a prefect place to have your ceremony before heading to the Glenorchy Airstrip for more photos in the mountains. Recommended other heli locations:
