Nested within the towering Fiordland mountains near the west coast and within Fiordland National Park, this is dramatic and remote alpine lake locations that will take your breath away.  Lake Quill is surrounded by sheer rock faces and alpine tussock. The Lake’s one small outlet feeds into the mighty Sutherland Falls, cascading 580 meters to the floor below. Depending on the time of year this area is flourishing in mountain flora or covered with snow and ice of the southern winter.  This coupled with the jaw dropping flight over some of the best country NZ has on offer is a lifetime experience.
