Lochnagar
HELI LOCATION
Lochnagar is one of the largest alpine lakes we can land at and is one of the most impressive. Originally created by a massive land slide, this magical area has a few heli landing locations around the lake edge. The pristine lake can beam beautiful dark blues and greens depending on the weather and time of day. The eastern end of the lake is home to an old-style musters hut (rebuilt in 1990). In the west we land on a beautiful pebble beach looking back over the lake at the Pine Spur.
