The Upper Humboldts – Glacier Basin is a perfect all year round snow landing option. Located at the head and western side of the of Lake Wakatipu. From these mountains you get incredible views of lake across to the Glenorchy township nested below the Richardson Ranges in the east, and then to the north, amazing views of the Rees and Dart braided rivers, Mount Alfred, and Mount Earnslaw in Te Wāhipounamu – UNESCO World Heritage Area
