Lake Erskine
HELI LOCATION
Lake Erskine is a stunning alpine lake situated 1340m above sea level, in Northern end of Fiordland National Park. The water in this lake have incredible colour characteristics – from deep navy blues in certain conditions to blue-green crystal or clear. Then often frozen through winter and shoulder seasons with large amounts of snow. From the lake’s outlet point looking across the lake you are surrounded by mountainous terrain. Turn around and you get stunning views down the Neale Burn Valley towards the very tip of Lake Te Anau.
